The CBA (Círculo de Bellas Artes) is one of the most important cultural centers in Europe and is characterized by its open attitude towards outstanding innovative artistic trends. It is a multidisciplinary center with activities ranging from visual art to literature, from science and philosophy, and from film to performing arts. The CBA was founded in 1880 through the efforts of a small group of artists. It is a private non-profit cultural institution, officially declared as a "Center for the Protection of Fine Arts and Public Interest". During the first years of the 20th century, its directors included important cultural figures of the time such as Jacinto Benavente and Carlos Arniches. The young Picasso attended painting classes here and Ramón María del Valle-Inclán frequented its rooms. The current headquarters of the CBA is a building by Antonio Palacios, the architect who designed many of Madrid's most characteristic buildings, such as the Communications Palace, the Central Bank (also on Calle Alcalá) and the Maudes Palace, among others. It was inaugurated by King Alfonso XIII on Monday, November 8, 1926 with an exhibition of paintings by Ignacio Zuloaga in the Goya room.

The people of Madrid use this 1.74-hectare garden in the summer to sit and relax on their terraces. It was designed during the 1930s and 1940s by the architects Fernando García Mercadal (1932) and Manuel Herrero Palacios (1945). The project included the construction of the first section surrounded by a low wall and accessed by a set of stairs, a farm area with trees, a central fountain, impressive flowers and lawns, granite walkways, lamp posts, and a bust of Zuloaga. Called "las Vistillas" due to its magnificent views of the Manzanares River and the Casa de Campo, it often hosts famous festivals and public festivities. In good weather conditions, this small tree-covered park is full of people sitting on terraces and watching a spectacular sunset.

Located in the Puente de Vallecas area, this park, popularly known as the 'park of the seven breasts' due to the shape of its hills, this park is said to offer the best views of Madrid. Spread over different heights and slopes, its vast swathes of grass and tree-lined paths make this one of the most popular green areas in the south of the city, offering sports equipment, a bike path, a kiosk, and an observation point at the highest area.

The Madrid cable car offers Madrid residents and tourists the opportunity to fly over the city and see the most historic and green parts of Madrid from the air.
